Letter to Philip Schuyler, Leonard Gansevoort and Stephen Van Rensselaer regarding Morris' nomination for election as a state senator. Morris solicits advice from the three men as to whether he should accept the nomination. He adds that if a majority of the voters in the city and county of Albany desire him to accept the nomination, he will. If they do not, he will place a notice in the papers withdrawing his name. Written at Otsego County, N.Y.
